Parkland
Estate

The client of this Georgian style home requested the gardens to have a formal and quite traditional feel to reflect the style of the architecture and mature parkland setting.

The design incorporated long vistas and axial elements radiating from the house including the pleached lime walk with central water rill and fountains. At the end of this principle vista a reflective disc sculpture by David Harbour creates a stunning and mesmerising focal point.

Clipped yew hedging and topiary elements are used throughout to create enclosure and frame views. Smaller garden rooms and seating areas provide a variety of contrasting areas for outdoor living.
